Maz was born in Queens and spent the early innings of his life in Canarsie,Brooklyn, New York. Hailing from the birth state of baseball and having a father who is a die- hard Yankee fan, it was only inevitable he would fall in love with America's past time. Later, growing up in New Jersey, his love of baseball grew into a love of sports..a love only rivaled by his love of art. Maz combines both of these passions in his work, creating pieces for both private clients and the athletes themselves. He has donated his art to several charities including those belonging to Don Mattingly, Bernie Williams and Isaac Bruce. His clients include Beckett, Topps and Small Town Monsters. Copies of his artwork along with originals are owned by wrestlers, football players and baseball players around the globe.
